Who runs this site

This site is operated by Thisissignal Ltd, company number 16911956, registered at 3rd Floor, 86 to 90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE, England. By using the site you accept these terms.

What the content is, and is not

Everything published here, including Signal Vox conversations and anything discussed at Signal Sessions, is general commentary and opinion. It is not professional, legal, regulatory or security advice, and it should not be relied on as a substitute for advice about your own circumstances. Views expressed by guests and members are their own and are not endorsed by Signal.

Editorial independence

Partners support the work of the community. They do not influence the conversations, choose the guests, or set the agenda. Where a partner takes part in a conversation, that involvement is stated plainly. Nothing on this site is paid placement.

The Chatham House Rule

Signal Sessions and the private community operate under the Chatham House Rule. You may use what you hear. You may not identify who said it, or the organisation they said it about, without their express permission. Persistent breach will end your membership.

Ownership

The Signal name, mark, written content and design are owned by Thisissignal Ltd. You are welcome to quote and link to what we publish with attribution. You may not republish it wholesale, or use the Signal name or mark to imply endorsement, without written permission.

Availability and accuracy

We try to keep the site accurate and available, but we do not guarantee either. We may change or withdraw content at any time. Links to other sites are provided for convenience and we are not responsible for what is on them.

Liability

Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Beyond that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

Draft status. Written as a starting point that reflects how Signal actually operates. It has not been reviewed by a solicitor, and the liability and jurisdiction clauses in particular should be.
