Signal Sessions · Glasgow

The right people. In the same room.Talking properly.

· Glasgow · Venue to be announced

An invitation led day for CISOs and senior security leaders to talk openly about the decisions, pressures and changes shaping modern security.

By invitation · In person · Chatham House Rule

The room

No slides to sit through. No pitches to survive.

Security leaders rarely need more information. They need somewhere to test their thinking against people carrying similar responsibility. The conversation is shaped by the people in the room and what they are dealing with now.

Everyone contributes. Nobody performs.

In the room

The room is being built.

Signal Sessions are built around the people in the room.

For Glasgow, we are bringing together CISOs, security leaders and experienced practitioners with different perspectives and shared responsibility for making security work in the real world.

Moderator, panel and special guests will be announced as the room takes shape.

Taking part

If you should be part of it, request an invitation.

The conversation

The agenda belongs to the room.

What happens in the room changes with the moment. Sessions follow the issues security leaders are actually wrestling with, rather than forcing discussion into a marketing agenda.

  1. 01AI and emerging technology
  2. 02Risk and resilience
  3. 03Security leadership
  4. 04Third party pressure
  5. 05Boards, budgets and difficult decisions

The questions evolve. The principle does not: useful conversation between people doing the job for real.

The format

One day. One room.

Every Session follows the same shape. The subjects change with the room. The structure does not.

  1. Arrival and coffeeDoors open. No badge scanning, no queue, just people talking.
  2. Opening conversationThe day is framed and the room is told how it works.
  3. Practitioner discussionExperience from the front line, including the parts that did not go to plan.
  4. Partner contributionsShort and declared as such. Never a sales presentation.
  5. LunchEat properly. In practice this is where half the useful conversations start.
  6. Attendee focused sessionsThe room works on what the people present actually brought with them.
  7. Open room conversationEveryone contributes. Nobody performs.
  8. DrinksFormal proceedings end and the informal ones carry on.

Chatham House Rule throughout. What is heard may be used. Who said it may not be repeated. Attendance is deliberately limited and the room carefully curated, so everyone contributes and nobody disappears into an audience.

The detailed Glasgow programme will be published as the room takes shape.

What would you most value discussing with the room? A line is plenty, and it genuinely shapes the day.
Is there someone else who should be in the room? (optional) Recommend a security leader or practitioner you think would add something to the conversation.

We will not add you to endless marketing emails or hand your details to partners. See the privacy notice.

See you in the room.
